Privacy Policy

The firm holds little, keeps it in confidence, and uses it only for the work.

Agrify Advisory Pty Ltd (ABN 15 692 295 542) — “AGRIFY”, “we”, “us” — respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains, plainly, what we collect and why.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us. In practice that is the information you provide when you contact a principal — your name, the organisation you represent, your telephone number and email address, and whatever you tell us about your situation. There is no enquiry form on this site; contact begins with a direct call or email.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider may record standard technical information — such as your browser type and general location — for security and to keep the site working. This is not used to identify you.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to you, to consider and carry out an engagement, and to maintain the professional relationship. Where we take on work, we use it to deliver that work and to meet our legal, tax and professional obligations. We do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Disclosure

We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade it. We disclose it only where necessary to do the work you have engaged us for, to trusted service providers who help us operate (for example, email and IT providers), or where the law requires it. Any counterparty introduced in the course of an engagement is dealt with on terms agreed with you.

Confidentiality

Discretion is central to how the firm works. Client relationships and the engagements we lead are treated as confidential and are not publicised. Information shared with us in the course of an engagement is held accordingly.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and to destroy or de-identify it when it is no longer needed and we are not required to keep it.

Access and correction

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and request that we correct it. We will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge to make a request, though a reasonable cost may apply to providing access in some cases.

Contact

For any privacy question, or to make a request or a complaint, speak with one of the principals directly — their direct lines and email addresses are on the Contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is the one published here.
